This GPS taxi meter app is designed for those who earn their living by driving, such as towing, shuttle bus, limo service, or taxi drivers. It offers a range of features that make it perfect for managing fares and extras during trips.

One of the standout features of this app is the ability to set up an unlimited number of tariffs. This means you can charge customers based on distance driven or time passed, or even a combination of both. Additionally, you have the option to charge only for time when the speed drops below a certain value.

The app also includes a trip log, stats, and receipts, providing all the necessary tools for billing and bookkeeping purposes.

With the flexible extras feature, you can define extra charges in advance and easily add them to a trip with just one tap. Alternatively, you can add arbitrary extra amounts as you drive. The ability to review and edit trip extras at any time adds to the convenience.

Switching between different tariffs is made quick and easy with the one-tap tariffs switch panel. You can choose which tariffs are visible in the panel and switch between them seamlessly.

Customizing the number of decimal places in the taxi fare is another useful option. You can choose to display 1 or 2 decimal places or no decimals at all.

The app integrates with Square Point of Sale for secure payments, including credit cards, and receipt printing. Please note that Square integration requires an in-app upgrade.

A built-in speedometer is included, allowing you to easily monitor your driving speed.

This app is universal and works on both iPhones and cellular iPads. The retina graphics ensure a visually pleasing experience. On iPads, side-by-side and split view are supported, so you can use navigation apps alongside the taximeter.

Thanks to the background mode, the taximeter continues to work even when you switch to other apps. This is especially helpful during active taxi trips.

The free version of the app allows for 10 taxi trips. If you require more, you can upgrade to the paid version. If you have previously purchased or upgraded the app, you can restore your purchases using the provided button.

Please note that this app is compatible with iPhones and cellular iPads only. iPods and Wi-Fi-only iPads will not function properly as they lack GPS capability. To use this app, an external GPS module is required.

It's important to keep in mind that using GPS apps in the background can significantly reduce battery life, as is the case with most GPS applications.
